REGISTRATION NOTICE
Have you wondered how to get your artwork into a form for making exhibit
entries, cards and gicleƩ prints? Or do you need to really dig into using the most
common digital tools for illustrators? This workshop is specifically designed for
science illustrators and will be taught by Amadeo Bachar - a digital media
instructor for the famous Scientific Illustration Program at California State
University – Monterey Bay.
We’ll be learning about:
• Getting traditional art into pixels
• Post production of art for gicleĆ© or other printing in Adobe Photoshop
• Basics Adobe Illustrator skills – pen tool, layers, vector, making brushes
• Basics Adobe Photoshop skills – selection, masks, painting, manipulating and
compositing traditional art, colorization of grayscales.
This workshop is open to the public but has a limited class size.
The cost for this two-day workshop is:
GNSI national and GNSI Chapter and Oregon Group members - $85
Non-GNSi members - $100.
