GNSI Oregon Group:
Recently, I sent out a “Call for Art” for a possible exhibit
at the Jacobs Gallery in Eugene, Oregon.
Due to the possibility of over-extending ourselves, we have decided to
withdraw the application to the Jacobs Gallery for the 2013-14 exhibition
season.
GNSI Pacific Northwest Chapter has secured dates for an
exhibition for its members at the Seattle Convention Center for January to
March 2014.
Since we had invited the Washington GNSI members to
participate along with our group we felt we would not be able to get enough
work together from everyone to fill the large space that the Jacobs Gallery has
to offer. Several GNSI
Oregon Group members are also members of the GNSI Pacific NW Chapter, making
this even more challenging.
However, after much discussion, we have come up with an
exciting alternative for future exhibitions for the GNSI Oregon Group. Please stay tuned! More information and opportunities will
be forthcoming.
